Tricia Porter  (she/her) RSW

Tricia Porter holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Carleton University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Windsor.  Tricia is committed to life-long learning, and enhances education and skills through on-going training and clinical supervision. 


 Tricia has over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations providing social work support.  Tricia worked in a variety of settings, including sexual assault centers, domestic violence shelters, child welfare, children’s mental health, outpatient mental health, and in private practice.

Tricia is a caring, dedicated, and experienced social worker applying evidence based approaches supporting people coping with life's challenges. Tricia delivers ethical, non-judgmental, and collaborative services focusing on a person’s strengths and building resiliency.

Tricia is skilled in supporting others through times of overwhelming stress, with experience in long-term support and in crisis intervention. Tricia is a skilled facilitator, has extensive management, clinical supervision, program development, and training experience. She is keenly aware of the needs of adult learners and delivers content focusing on evidence based practices designed to enhance service delivery capacity.

Registered Social Worker

Tricia Porter is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). The designation of Registered Social Worker (RSW) represents an accountability to the public and the College. Standards of practice set by the OCSWSSW regarding confidentiality, record keeping, and other areas of integrity in practice are adhered to.
